
Marty Allain, JD
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Marty Allain is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of REAL Solutions Group. He has over 25 years of experience helping clients and organizations navigate and succeed in complex regulatory and compliance environments. Allain is a former Executive Director of the Indiana Board of Pharmacy (2005-2009), receiving the Governor’s Public Service Achievement Award (2008) in the role. He is also the former director of Indiana’s prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP). During his time as PDMP director, the program was a HIMSS Interoperability Showcase Selection and American Medical Informatics Association Panel Selection and received the Administrators in Medicine Best of Boards Award, Digital Government Achievement Award, and a second Governor’s Public Service Achievement Award in 2009.

As General Counsel and Legislative Liaison for the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Allain represented the agency at over 100 legislative committee hearings. He worked with stakeholders and legislators on several successful legislative efforts including bills that led to permanent, state-based funding for Indiana’s PDMP through provider CSR registration fees, the creation of cease and desist powers for regulatory boards, and a first-of-its-kind drug take-back statute permitting pharmacies to operate self-sustaining, private, voluntary take-back programs for unwanted medications without law enforcement involvement.

He was NABP Digital Health Programs Senior Manager from 2015 to 2019 where he oversaw the NABP Healthcare Merchant Accreditation program, NABP’s domain name registry, and its rogue website identification program while representing NABP nationally on Capitol Hill and in various Statehouses, as well as globally, including presentations and stakeholder events throughout Europe, North America and South America. Allain served as the CEO of NABP’s subsidiary consulting arm, NABP Solutions, before acquiring the company with its Co-founder Logan Macy in 2021. He earned his law degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 1998.
