Lloyd Jessen is a pharmacist with 44 years of experience, as well as 35 years in pharmacy regulatory compliance, specializing in pharmacy assessment, policy and procedure review, and compounding. Lloyd currently serves as a service consultant for REAL Solutions Group (RSG), where he assists with pharmacy accreditation, inspection preparation, and regulatory compliance.

He earned his B.S. in Pharmacy from SDSU College of Pharmacy and his JD from Drake University Law School. Throughout his professional career, Lloyd served as a pharmacy manager and hospital pharmacist. As an attorney, Lloyd was an Appellate Screening/Research Attorney for the Iowa Supreme Court, the Chief Investigator for the Iowa Board of Pharmacy, and the Executive Director of the Iowa Board of Pharmacy. In addition to his time as an attorney, he also served in multiple roles at the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) including: a member of numerous advisory committees and task forces, a 7-year member of the NABP Executive Committee, and an NABP Accreditation Surveyor Consultant.
