Join a mission-driven team working to advance patient safety and regulatory excellence.

RSG is hiring a Solutions Engineer to own the bridge between what a client needs and what our licensing team and platform deliver. When a pharmacy, wholesale distributor, manufacturer, or compounding operation is evaluating RSG, you'll map their existing licensing footprint, design the plan to bring it onto the RSG licensing system, and make sure the scope we commit to is a scope we can execute.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery with prospective clients to document their current licensing and compliance footprint.

  • Design integration and implementation plans that translate a client's existing licensing operations including license records, renewal calendars, application pipelines, and supporting documentation  into the RSG licensing system.

  • Validate scope before we commit: assess each proposed engagement against the capacity of the licensing team and the capabilities of the platform, and recommend phasing or adjustments where the fit isn't clean.

  • Support the sales cycle as the solutions lead: run platform demonstrations, field regulatory and technical questions, and contribute to proposals and statements of work (SOWs), while your sales partner owns negotiation and close.

  • Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, both internally and on the client side.

  • Manage the handoff from signed deal to onboarding, giving the licensing team a clear, complete picture of scope, timeline, and client expectations.

  • Build the reusable assets that make scoping repeatable: discovery questionnaires, implementation templates, and capacity-planning frameworks.

  • Channel client feedback into improvements to the RSG licensing system and service model.

What You Already Have

  • 3–5 years of experience in solution engineering or implementation, preferably in pharmacy licensing, government regulatory operations, or compliance.

  • Experience in a client-facing role — solutions engineering, implementation, onboarding, consulting, or account management — where you turned client needs into deliverable plans.

  • Ability to articulate client needs technically, including the ability to translate client requirements in a way that aligns with product standards and requirements.

  • Experience presenting to and working alongside executive stakeholders.

  • Strong data-handling skills: advanced spreadsheet proficiency (Google Sheets or Excel — lookups, pivot tables, data validation) and a track record of turning inconsistent source files into clean, structured datasets required. SQL experience preferred.

  • Comfort learning and using software deeply: you can master a proprietary platform and explain it credibly to non-technical audiences.

  • Strong written communication, particularly scoping documents, implementation plans, and client-ready deliverables.

  • A self-directed working style: you're comfortable owning outcomes with limited oversight, structuring ambiguous problems, and building processes where none exist yet.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Excel, and PowerPoint
