Steve Hart is a licensed pharmacist and Drug Supply Chain Specialist with REAL Solutions Group (RSG), responsible for preparing clients for Drug Distributor Accreditation (DDA). His diverse background in pharmacy allows him to utilize his experience and expertise in regulatory affairs to achieve successful DDA outcomes.

Steve’s pharmacy experience encompasses practice and management in retail, institutional and regulatory pharmacy.  As a graduate of Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy, his pharmacy career encompasses practice and management in the retail pharmacy arena, such as serving as the Pharmacy Manager of the University of Tennessee at Memphis Oncology Center and owner of an independent pharmacy specializing in compounding and long-term care. Later in his career he held positions as a Pharmacy Inspector, the Inspections and Investigations Coordinator, and the Executive Director of the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. He is currently the sole proprietor of Hart Consulting Services, specializing in pharmacy compliance issues.

Steve has held numerous leadership roles in professional organizations including President of the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation, Kentucky Pharmacist’s Association Board of Directors, and member/chair of various committees. He has been recognized for his contributions to the profession of pharmacy with various awards, including Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ Kentucky Pharmacist of the Year.
